George Nelson

George Nelson is a renowned designer who revolutionized furniture design during the mid-twentieth century. One of his most famous works is his iconic Marshmallow Sofa, which features colorful, rounded cushions in a unique arrangement. Aside from furniture design, Nelson also had a significant contribution to the overall design industry. He founded the Industrial Design Department at Yale University, where he mentored students such as Charles Eames and Isamu Noguchi. He passed away in 1986 but his contributions to the design world remain a significant influence to this day.
